Rocksbox Jewelry Review

Plenty of sparkle inside!

Plenty of sparkle inside!

As a jewelry lover, I love to see new designs and shapes adorning people's ears, necks and fingers usually on the internet but sometimes even at the grocery store. When I worked retail, a million years ago, I enjoyed sharing my jewelry sourcing secrets, half the time from the store I was working at, or breaking the ice and asking where they acquired something. Jewelry is still a purchase many people only feel comfortable buying in person even though this attitude is shifting. Buying jewelry online can be a high stakes game of chance. It might look good on the website but shows up tarnished or looking cheap, coupled with a return policy that is anything but convenient. Luckily, I found a solution for all the jewelry lovers out there who don't want to shop in stores or don't have the time: Rocksbox.

Browsing their online selection is so much fun with colorful choices running the gamut from flashy maximilist trends to simple and timeless staples. I was excited to find rose gold earrings which I quickly wishlisted and they arrived in my first box. Rose gold is hard to find in jewelry pieces especially at affordable prices. The designers range from Kendra Scott to Kate Spade.

My wishlist is a bit all over the place because I like different styles. In any given week I will wear giant colorful fringe earrings, delicate gold necklaces or just a couple of rings. I usually find pieces I like in any metal from silver to gold. Even with my varied taste, I found the stylist suggestions were pretty spot on to my preferences from the style quiz. I quickly filled my wishlist with goodies and added the pieces I liked the most to the top 10.

Before your first Rocksbox is sent, they show you a preview of what's inside. You have 24 hours to confirm your selections, swap out a piece or two or if you are really gutsy be totally in the dark. Since jewelry and my preferences are so personal, I had to check the selections. I swapped out one necklace and was ready to go.

It's no surprise Rocksbox comes in a beautiful box and packaging, see above and all photos. The best part is you can return anything you don't like and purchase anything you love from your Rocksbox without a deadline looming over you. If you want to use your monthly credit that expires at the end of the month so you won't get that extra incentive to purchase any of your favorites. My favorite piece from my first Rocksbox is the rose gold and black quartz Ava Rose earrings that look a little bit sinister and different. A great way to punch up a more casual tee and jeans outfit. All of the selections I received are versatile which is a must for me.

There really is something for everyone at Rocksbox. From minimal and gold to colorful and sparkly, any mood or desire can be channeled through their selection. I used to be committed to the minimalist aesthetic all around even more so when it came to jewelry. It was like adding a little bit of icing to my outfit. Then I started craving more wild things than a delicate gold necklace can provide. Barely there gold necklaces still have my heart but I've expanded my jewelry collection to include rainbow earrings and giant sparkly door knockers I would have admired from afar, unable to purchase. So no matter your style or jewelry preference you will find some sparkly confections to suit your liking. If you would like to try a free month with Rocksbox click here for my exclusive discount.

This gold pantera necklace is great for summer and will stand out against my many white tops and v neck tees.

These druzy stud earrings will go with anything but add a little bit of sparkle when needed.
